Three ‘Shares’

27 01 2008

So anyway I’ve been using Google Reader for a while now and I LOVE it (maybe I will even write one of these posts about it some day soon, who knows), and I just recently discovered the ’share’ feature on it which apparently allows me to mark the articles I read that I think are extra-interesting and ’share’ them with my friends (gmail contacts), which is quite cool.

Anyway since no one that I know of apart from myself actually uses Google Reader (even though it’s AMAZING) I don’t know much use my three new ’shares’ will be on there, but I thought at least since I don’t have time to write anything exciting and original on here that I could post them up and there would be at least something nice to read.

So, here are my three ’shares’, three articles that I read today (out of the huuuundreds that come into my Google Reader, because I’m a bit of a manic subscriber) which are all quite different, but that I really enjoyed.

1. From Reuters Photographs: Inside a Women’s Prison

2. From Boing Boing (a GREAT site): Objects Embedded in Brooklyn’s Asphalt

3. From Presentation Zen (also an extremely cool site in general): Helvetica (The Film)

So you might find one of those interesting! Although I could probably be tempted to post hundreds of (what I think are) cool links every day (slash hour) I’ll try not to make this too boring and just full of links to other places, so this, I promise, is just a temporary thing until I can write nice exciting original thoughts from my own head. Unless you like the links better ;-)

Enjoy!
